ColorGuard4Life making it easier for your to consign

After considering several suggestions from our clients, ColorGuard4Life is very pleased to announce the scheduling of “LOCAL PICK-UP” Days throughout the country. Many of you have asked for us to stop by and pick-up items that you want to consign. So, we are now scheduling certain areas of the country for you to drop off with us – closer to you.

Our Calendar of Events list the locale areas. Our next Pick-up Date is in the Myrtle Beach, SC area on June 22nd. Many others have already been scheduled – so take a look and see if we are in your area.

Here’s how Local Pickup Days work: contact us at least 2 weeks prior to the published date in your area. We will work with you to arrange a drop off/pickup location. (All items still have to be Added to your account prior to drop off so we know what you are consigning.) It’s that simple…

In an effort to assist bands and groups across the country take advantage of Online Consignment, ColorGuard4Life has announced the creation of “Local Pick-Up” Days.

As customers and clients have shared great comments on the services ColorGuard4Life offers, shipping costs are continuing to rise as the economy works its way back. Tammy Kasserman, President/Owner of ColorGuard4Life commented, “If we can help units by eliminate shipping costs to list items by arranging pick up in their area, then let’s do it!”

All Local Pick-Up dates are shared publicly on CG4L’s Calendar of Events (take a look). All any customer or client has to do is contact ColorGuard4Life two weeks prior to the scheduled date/location. Someone from CG4L will work with the individual and arrange a common location in that area for pick-up of consignment items or even drop off newly purchases items for customers.

As ColorGuard4Life’s stated mission is to ‘keep the dream (of Color Guard) Alive, offering Local Pick-Up days adds another service to assist groups everywhere. Whether turning used color guard equipment into cash or finding incredible deals on color guard items, ColorGuard4Life is striving to help where possible.

New Online Service Launches with Mission of Helping Keep Performing Arts on the Marching Field

Winston-Salem, NC — As 2009 proved to be a tough year for the business world, high schools, colleges and other performing organizations also felt the sting of a weak economy with reduced or eliminated budgets. Groups of striving students and young people are watching their opportunities to make a positive impact on their lives and others dwindle away to nothing. Marching Bands across America are struggling to meet the financial needs of performing at every home football game or even taking it to the next level by competing on weekends. As budgets become tighter every day, the goal of keeping performing arts on the field becomes more challenging.

A new online service recently launched to help meet the challenges of these hard economic times while also helping the environment. ColorGuard4Life is a new online consignment service that allows marching bands, winter guard units, drum corps and college bands the opportunity to consign years past equipment/flags to be showcased on an online storefront. In turn, equipment is available for purchase by other bands at lower than new merchandise prices. Band organizations can make additional monies from used equipment while concurrently finding a source to purchase needed items at much lower prices. All while helping the environment by allowing used equipment to be recycled to other needing organizations, thus extending the life of field performance items many years and reducing the environmental impact in landfills.

Midwest Clinic going great!

Chicago may be ice cold, but the Midwest Clinic has been busy for us. Thanks to the hundreds of directors, supervisors, instructors and even future band directors, ColorGuard4Life has been enjoying a very succesful showing. Feedback has been great so far, and we look forward to a great finish tomorrow.
